Subaqueous Solitude (ACC#4)
I've always loved to swim...and by swim I mean float and frolic like a manatee...but in my mind I was Daryl Hannah in SPLASH. For me, this painting captures that most peaceful of moments underwater, air still in your lungs, no need to regain the surface, just "hanging" in effortless solitude.
This piece was 1 of 3 recently displayed at the 33August juried art exhibit at the Old Orchard Gallery in Webster Groves, MO...the trio winning the Visitors Choice award
