Crying Over Spilt... (ACC#21)

Crying Over Spilt... (ACC#21)

$150.00Price
The idea that there is "no use crying over spilt milk" was a tough lesson to learn as a child...not crying over spilt paint was an even harder lesson to learn as an adult artist. Part of my collage technique involves transferring paint from a secondary source on to the main canvas, so the idea that spilt, or discarded, paint can be repurposed makes the ban on tears more tolerable. The subsequent irony that this piece looks a lot like someone lost control of a "grande, pumpkin spice, mocha latte with double whip and caramel drizzle" is not lost on me.
