But For the Trees II (ACC #20)
$150.00Price
This piece is fairly "Green". I don't mean the color, although it is; I'm speaking instead, of the intent, the philosophy. This piece, and it's mate, were made almost entirely from recycled paint. Paint that started out on another project. Paint that was "overrun", discarded...waist. Paint, that when dried, was sliced and diced, and layered into this abstract collage, reminiscent of a copse of trees. Trees...the saving of which, along with the polar bear, has become the actual symbol of "going green". I even recycled the hanging wire on the back, from another piece...cuz I'm thoughtful like that.
